It's Repeal Day!

Today is the anniversary of the 21st Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, repealing the 18th Amendment: the prohibition of alcohol.

So go out and have yourself a smart cocktail—or even a Flaming Moe—to celebrate!

Chris, what an interesting post, especially the link to Wikipedia's description of the process of ratification of the 21st amendment. Can you imagine that prohibition lasted for almost 15 years?? What a travesty. It figures that South Carolina rejected the amendment. The south is still overly-populated with hypocrits who are all, "Keep the government out of my life unless it's telling me what to drink, who to marry or sleep with, and whether or not to have a baby. Yeah."

Prohibition is still alive and well in Norway. Asshats. :-(
