OK, you have lost me - although perhaps not. Is this a reference to the film about the love story between two cowboys?
miladysa: yes, it's a reference to Brokeback Mountain, opening on Friday. Jake & Heath get a little man-on-man action going in a pup-tent, which is something I haven't seen since my days in the Boy Scouts.
