National Deviled Egg Day

Proof that there is a celebration for everything, today is National Deviled Egg Day. Don't get me wrong, I love them little deviled eggies (mmmmm... delicious), but after a few, I'm pretty much done for the next year or so.

Not coincidentally, tomorrow is National Pass Horrendous Gas Day.

Bon Appétit

(I'm laughing out loud!)
I agree with you 100%; after a couple deviled eggs, the honeymoon is over until next Labor Day (we alsways have deviled eggs at our Labor Day picnics). Why? I don't know, it's just a custom.

By the way, Chris, YOU'VE BEEN TAGGED!
Check out my latest post for details!!

:v) Happy day~

Love the deviled Eggs, but only if my sister makes them. No weird freudian stuff, she just makes REALLY GOOD deviled eggs.

But the real reason I am writing is to ask you, what does it say in the really tiny print above the title of your blog (mornings of slap & tickle). It is black and is in 1 pt type. Or is it just my imagination?

Jill,

The one point font means nothing... it certainly doesn't say anything about 'by reading this you pledge to find me a date' or 'that you will give me a buck a letter'... certainly nothing like that. Just a little non-sense, that's all. Go on... read, my friend... read!

'Wind' is something I need to avoid right now!

Deviled eggs day shall be postponed in this household until the New Year. Unless of course, Sir Hubby wants to serve it wearing just his black apron and white hat - I think I may risk wind for that :)

Re: Miladysa's 'wind' references-- I am SO laughing out loud!!!!

Speaking of 'wind', as it were, I was so bored last week (incase you don't know, I'm housebound for 6 months while I recover from spinal surgery) that I decided I just HAD to have a Fart Machine from Pranksonline.com. Keeping in mind that I teach fourth grade for a living and am supposed to set some kind of example, this little battery operated 'wind' machine has been the cause of more laughter than I can begin to illustrate with words!

Hey Chris--By the way, I wasn't sure if you know what 'tagged' means. You simply have to answer and post the 7 questions that are on my post onto YOUR blog.

Thanks for linking to me!

If I could READ IT, I wouldn't have had to ask. Guess I'll never know. It's forgotten.

Apparently, someone has created a baked bean that does not give you wind. May be able to do the same for eggs. But then that takes away the fun - like sugar free, caffeine free coke. Why?!

Wow...do they also ahev days for scramble d eggs, omlettes, boiled eggs etc...

Coolbuddha, A baked bean that does not give you gas? That's half the fun... seriously, what's the point of chowing down if you're not going to have a little fun after?
